'Cabaret Deconstruit' offers a unique view of the world around us with burlesque lightness and sardonic pleasure.

Lauded as one giant 'burlesque whirlwind' by Dutch newspaper Trouw and a 'musical fever dream where images and associations tumble over eachother' by Theaterkrant - with the show being the chosen critic's choice for this season - Cabaret Deconstruit is turning heads all over The Netherlands, with plenty of opportunities to watch it in the upcoming weeks.

Lost In Isolation - based on the lockdown drawings by Dutch artist I. Bouwmeester - takes the audience on a multidisciplinary trip through different feelings: from confusion and anger to emotion and hope. The performance

offers a reflection on a period to which anyone, anywhere in the world, can relate.

Sound Gems is a mobile app with a collection of 'audio jewels'. The binaural audiotracks are made to be listened to in a certain way (like lying down), in a certain environment (like a forest of a street) or at a certain time (like sunset), allowing the daily environment of the listener to become a theatrical part of the experience.

Dyane Donck Company (DDC) is the producing organization around composer/theatre maker Dyane Donck, who has been developing and executing multidisciplinary projects since 2010 as initiator, maker and performer.

Music is always the starting point in the various projects of DDC; composed music with influences from pop, classical, opera, soundscape and musique concrete, in which electronics and technology always play a major role.

From there DDC develop music theatre performances, headphone opera's, sound sculptures, multidisciplinary concerts, innovative sound apps, headphone mindful experiences and lots more!

Dyane was educated in visual arts, (electronic) music and technology and collaborates with lots of other artists and technologists from different disciplines. Some collaborations went so well that they led to a permanent collective or duo.

These structural collaborations form the basis for the divers projects of Dyane Donck Company.
